Getting Started

In addition to nudging you (and, by extension, me) into the 21st Century, this blog has been created as a way of better utilizing our Reading Logs. Reading Log prompts will be posted on our class webpage (at Class Jump). Rather than submit them directly to me, I am asking that you post them on this blog. This way, all students in all three sections will be able to review (and comment upon) others' reaction to Jane Eyre and subsequent readings.

Keep in mind that this is a public forum. I have not put any restrictions on your postings, nor will I preview them before they appear for all to see. So please keep your comments thoughtful and appropriate--and feel free to read and respond to what others have written.

In order to access the blog, you need to complete a few simple steps:

• Obtain a Gmail account (if you don't already have one);
• Give that account address to me so that I can invite you into the blog;
• Check your email account and follow the steps included in my invitation;
• Begin sharing your thoughts on the reading!
