Whats so great about Blanche???
Poor Jane. Honestly, that would be the worst having to watch the love of your life be all over another woman. However, Jane manages to keep herself together. She convinces herself that she could never have a man like Rochester, that he is too good for her and she is stupid to even think that it would work out between them. I am just confused about what Rochester told Blanche when he was the gypsy. Obviously it upset her, I am hoping that he straight up told her that it wasn't going to work out between her and the man she is with. I am definitely pulling for Jane.

The question, though, is WHY could Jane never have a match like Rochester? Is it a matter of class (rich guys don't marry their governesses), of convention or of both?
